Yellowstone 2 - Old Faithful

On our way to see Old Faithful we crossed the continental divide twice - a curious thing about this spot is a small lake (pond) that empties at both ends and sends water to the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico both!

We joined the throng to catch the world's most famous (and regular?) geyser - and it didn't disappoint. It is on a 90 minute schedule now, and was on time - but only lasted about 5 minutes! Notice the over-dressed (but sunburn-free) lovely lady below with a few thousand of her fellow tourists. They do this right, but they must - this area of Visitor Center, restaurants and shops empties and fills 10 times a day!
