Just two of the 'smaller' rigs almost filled their side parking lot so several rigs chose to stay at a nearby RV park.
Out at that park Wendell cooked us several meals - he brought that ring, a truck bed full of firewood and all the iron skillets. I am waiting to make the sausage gravy that went with the Trail Hand Breakfast he prepared. Sojourns, we have been told, are rated on the "pounds gained" scale and this was at least a Five Pounder.
Every day before the Fair we met for a devotional period - the men all shared the teaching and prayers and Richard or I led the songs. This is a Sojourner practice, in various forms, at all Sojourns we have experienced and it is a welcome and beneficial start to your service day.
