We spent some long - and late- shifts at the Fair (it didn't shut down 'til 10pm) but we enjoyed it. Ava got acquainted with Jen Garcia, who had a booth across the aisle that she and her husband shared with their two businesses. Ava became a customer and Jennifer and her two children came out to the trailer to visit. I got to know her husband, Tony, and her dad, Jose. He had an interesting story - they immigrated to Utah when he was 4 from Puerto Rico and he grew up in Bingham City - a town now completely gone in the Kennecott Copper Mine pit!
